Sojurn

They say to appreciate what you’ve got –
But, if taken away, that’s no longer a lot.

In the evening, pressure should release:
Once tired, what’s left is without peace.

For I know our home is only temporary:
Desire to stay is disallowed to pursaude.

It’s one thing if choosing to live like this –
Always moving shifts with hit and miss.

But, when imposed against needed security,
Prospective novelty looses promised luster.
