“The Waiting Game” (New Age Song)

Candid Corvid Productions

By Athena Stairs, October 31, 2026

When your head’s grown tired
And you feel ashamed

When the lies reveal
That it’s been a game

Don’t close down your heart
As you run away

Knowing love that’s pure
Doesn’t play that game

Just wait
Don’t give up on your self this time

When you
Need to leave that pain behind

Just trust
There’s a reason you came to witness

Hope isn’t
A bad word of yours or mine

All the world’s aflame
Not just one soul hurt

Others feel the same
Pushed into the dirt

Mismatched frequencies
Those winning losers

Wait for harmony
Not hasty users

Come here
And sit at the table beside me

We’ll feast
On more than the fruit of plenty

I’ve got
This secret I need to tell you

Don’t let
Their hatred’s momentum jail you

Pride’s a faulty horse
Unsure of its stride

Leads you off your course
Kicking biting mind

What you need is sight
Clarifying

Put your hand in mine
We’ll go flying

We don’t
Need to have all of the answers

For lessons
Will reveal as we go dancing

If we
Could understood all of the methods

There would
Be no need for our hesitation

Life is but a dream
‘Til you drink its wine

Nothing’s as it seems
‘Til we take that climb

Looking down we’ll see
More than humankind

It’s our destiny
To keep our worlds aligned

Yeah
I bet you didn’t know the reason

Of why
We arrived during altered seasons

Don’t give
Into dread’s deceptive collusion

Just know
Your part in creating solutions

When I look at you
I see my own light

Even when feels dim
Its still shining bright

All I have to say
All I know that’s true

We will find a way
I believe in you

So let’s
Go play at the feet of mountains

And breathe
In air from the salted seas

And glide
Across waves of grass in the open

And dream
Beneath forested canopies

No
Don’t be afraid to remember

There’s more
Than the years between you and me

Revealed
This world is waiting discovery

How real
It becomes when we can agree

Every time you looked
When nothing was found

Gained you more insight
To know if solid ground

Now our biggest leap
Putting fear aside

When the right one comes
It’s ok to try

I know
You see how we’ve all been struggling

So rest
Your weary head upon my thigh

It’s time
All our doubts have got to be bested

Dissolved
No longer have to suffer and cry

Who’s the boss of this
Who’s in charge of that

Doesn’t need a rule
Just the simple facts

What is functional
Verses greedy mess

Our truth will reveal
Hear its warmth instead

I know
You’re weary from the confusion

And why
Doesn’t anything ever make since

We’ve come
To create our own resolution

Just help
Wherever you feel that its best

Over time we’ll see
Rewards of attempts

Though never easy
And always put to test

Endurance has shown
Intentions come through

What’s false falls aside
Earth can be renewed

To care
Is not a lost cause investment

For love
Is the greatest prize to be won

Your will
Is the might against harsh illusion

Just grow
Our strength in full has yet to become

“Let’s Make A New World” (Raggae Song)

Candid Corvid Productions

By Athena Stairs, October 26, 2026

Verse:

Came home alone late last evenin’
Hard to think of what’s been said

Try as we might its been a horror
There are no rights in common dread

‘Cept what greed has taken from us
Without honor they break trust

Without accountin’ win our losin’
It’s me and you who pay that cost

Chorus:

But it’s a wide world
We’ve got to share philosophies

And its a bright world
Electronics help us see

And it’s a hopeful world
Yeah it’s up to you and me

And it’s a rich world
Even when in poverty

Verse:

Don’t ask the jailer for his key ring
When you’re trapped without release

It’s his job to keep you in there
Where the corrupt bend your knees

All you can do is endure it
As you pass the hardest test

But keep lookin’ for an answer
Show up in your very best

Chorus:

‘Cause it’s a good world
No matter what they tell you

And it’s a free world
No matter what they try to sell you

And its a fine world
Without a killing season

And its a right world
We’ve got to reach for better reason

Verse:

Rotten cracked down to foundations
Not even justice can atone

When all you can do is to steer clear
Feel the ache deep in your bones

It’s our pride that will redeem us
And Mother Nature’s healing hands

So when they set the hounds upon you
Remember this and make your stand

Chorus:

Because it’s our world
Yeah speak it to the night

When its a dark world
We’ve got to walk into that light

And in this old world
Just believe in our birth rights

We’ll make a new world
Come on and take it to new heights

Chorus:

‘Cause it’s a good world
No matter fear their breedin’

Oh yeah it’s our world
In every drought and every season

And in a right world
There’ll be no more need for grievin’

To make this new world
We’ve gotta put a stop to thievin’

Chorus:

Oh yes it’s our world
In any rhyme or reason

And it’s a good world
No matter lies they keep on feedin’

And it’s our birth world
There’s no way that we’re leavin’

And in this open world
Come on and share your wildest dreamin’

“In A State Of Grace” (Song)

Candid Corvid Productions

Athena Stairs, October 17, 2026

I wake up in the morning
And I toss in early haze

When I think about us
I catapult into a race

I wanna be there with you
Or you could be here by my side

I know the roads between us
The walls aren’t really hard to climb

‘Cause you
You make me feel brand new

And you
Yeah I can hold you

‘Cause you
Understand just what I need

I do
Wanna give it too

I want to know your hearbeat
The taste of passion on your lips

I wanna feel it rushing
As our fingers take their grip

And if you come in closer
You could let me know your mine

Just like a rollercoaster
We’ll ride the highs and then unwind

‘Cause you
Give me a reason

Yeah you
To give it one more try

I do
Wanna see you blossom

It’s true
‘Cause the way you love just makes me cry

I’ve gotta have you in me
Complications can’t divide

I need to know you feel me
And I’m the one who can preside

You know we’ve gotta choose this
Or all we’re doin’s wastin’ time

My heart is feelin’ bruises
This keep away fu**s up my mind

‘Cause you
Are the one I’m craving

Yeah you
Are my destination station

I do
Wanna love you always

It’s true
Feelin’ hope is so divine

We’re right this time
We’ll see

Cause baby
You belong with me

In a state of grace
