Gods, be at last generous and kind to him.”

Be her consort
Tradition demanded
Much more than this

King of Hearts
Where’s your start?
Do you see the
Way is open?
In a glance
Hidden chance
Now we feel the
Future welcome
In all of the
Days of searching
Our souls had to
Keep learning
How to love again
In ways that never end
And while I was dreaming
You’ve been creating
A song to sing again
My Dearest Friend
My Dearest Friend
King of Hearts
In a flash
I see our
Lives unfolding
You and me
We make a team
Hand in hand
Our lives are golden
For all the pain
We suffered through
I wouldn’t change
A thing or you
Because we’re here
In paradise awakened
What was lost
Is not forsaken
But becomes
Reborn again
And Heaven’s voice
Opens the Gates
Calling us home
(Its throne our Home)

High born in the lands of legacy
Sought oceans’ siren entreaties
Unkowing he’d rule air’s landing
Crowned to marry any kingdom
Yet never was he of pedantry
Mastering creation of realities
One day he turned to look – and found that she’d been waiting for him, tethered…
He saw her sitting in her car, immersed in a serious phone video call.
What did he think of her when he saw her like this in reality.
Was there respect and admiration, or did he decide he was barking up the wrong tree?

(Title of multiple meanings)
He didn’t understand why it was happening.
His parents just one day stopped truly seeing him.
Even when they spoke with him, it was as if they or he, were/was not truly present.
Were they distracted? Had he changed inside so quickly, so drastically?
Had he grown beyond their capacities of understanding?
They didn’t see his silence as an indicator that he was falling…falling deeper away from the norms of expectation.
