“Think of me, when you are out there, alone in your prime and uncertain,
Remember that I believe in you, for I arose from my ashes and witnessed.
And know that we are both worthy, as a good man and woman were meant to be.”

He smoothly walked past the two of them for casual observation, noting the woman in red-gold splendour with her beloved grown child beside her.
She could tell he had recently showered as his hair hung in smooth, coiled ringlets, and his masculine meditation clued he was deep in preparation.
After his amazing, high energy show last night, today finally feels like a real Sunday.
Last night my youngling and I saw Elderbrook live at the Roseland Theater, Portland.
I got dressed up in firebird red and gold layers, phoenix belt, and sparkling light reflecting aspects with accent hair clip feathers.
We sat in the ADA section because my hip had acted up again and my youngling had just acquired a foot injury, making our arriving there challenging.
But this did not stop us from sitting – then standing in place while cheering, zagreeting, and dancing!
We got to see Vandelux first as a wonderful bonus – and Elderbrook’s show was AMAZING!!!

“When I was a child, I spent a lot of time alone at my gransparents’ house.
When I say alone, that meant that grandpa was away for music business or golf during the day, while grandma was either cleaning house, watching golf, or come evening, cooking for all of us.
Simple things to eat were always available, like potato chips, slices of cheese, some crisp head lettuce, and bread and lunch meat.
My place was either in the front side bedroom listening to A-tracks, or on the floor in the kitchen, watching B-matinee movies.
Now, as I wait for paperwork processing to be able to resume my healing therapies, there’s a lot of me tending to the animals in the front room before the fire, and kitchen duties accompanied by the comfort of netflix or music piped through the phone set on repeat…
And pretty much the same simple diet for the kid in me.”
“There’s an event I’m looking forward to, and I’ll be dressed in aspects of a phoenix.”
Music, lyrics, poetry, photography…
The purple irises still yet to bloom are dug up from too much shade along the leaning fence soon to be repaired; vegie pots from last year are now half full, awaiting fresh soil topping; and the latest gathering of seedlings are lined along the sidewalk freshly watered, awaiting tomorrow’s ventures!
The sprouted seedlings have arrived for early gardening!!!

A Happy Coincidence!
“Sometimes, it calls to me…”
“What if I were to tell you that underneath this formidable facade of a hardened, battle-weary woman resides a spritely child as of fairy legends who loves singing with the strange languages of birds – and even at times howling like a playful wolf cub and screeching like an impish dragon screeling?”

Still young and naive.
Perhaps not everything needs to mean something…
If some memories from the past are really not that good, maybe there is no longer any reason to keep remembering them.

“How can artists just be their creative selves around other people?”
Many people say to let the animals roam freely outside, and if they get injured or killed, so be it.
But we came to know, love, and protect our beloveds, and valued their happy well being.
With the addition of our tiger’s 7 month old successor, the house is bustling and lively again.
Of course, I am overwhelmed and overworked in trying to attend to everyone’s introductions and needs.
But the hound and he seem to be as perfectly-matched playmates (supervised, for sure!), building further upon past precious traditions, and our ranger has someone interesting to pique her interest.
Our wolf, per usual, is aloof and tolerant – and keeps alert for when the food is ready!

Keeps throwing herself into each moment, without worrying if there’s a tomorrow.
“When I was younger, we moved into a large, two-story home with the original front unit covered in brown shingles, which made it blend well into the environment.
The back portion was a more modern add-on with an additional room below and stairs that led up to an open office and a large bedroom with a beautiful bathroom and jacuzzi tub.
We first got our sassy brown tiger there, and then, our two Somali queen and ranger kittens.
We had small , yappy Papillon teenagers that were loving, competetive, and drove us all crazy – which seemed appropriate for a bustling, thriving family.
And as members of the local 4-H club, we had many varieties of standard to exotic chickens, and our first thriving garden that included young, fruit-bearing trees.
We lived on a large corner sandy lot with a big back yard, a huge elder pine right behind the house, and tall eucalyptus trees draping along the driveway.
There was also a several-nooked, partially enclosed front yard with a simple pond that we put in on the far left corner when looking out from the porch.
Our home’s entrance seemed to beckon and welcome, inviting friendly visitors to come stay and play with us awhile.
I loved seeking out and adding “magical” plants to the landscape, such as soft and fragrant groundcovering chamomile.
Eventually, we even had a family of crows bring their children to visit, and a pair of hawks nested their babies high above us.
It was a time and place for new beginnings as our children entered their teens, and I had so much hope for their having the brightest future.”
I got my boy.
(Thank you, Angels)
She hurt and needed, and it couldn’t be helped without the grounding of another tiger.
Little blessings.
I dreamed of beautiful black, sleek horses in a lush, green, sloping field dotted with tall, gracefully draping trees, and two big draft horses interacting with me, attempting to get me to let them leave their yard – whereupon their owner called out from his window to them to quit coercing me, and they retreated, flicking their tails and tossing their manes, as if laughing.
Then, I heard many kittens calling behind me in an overgrown field, and a woman and I gathered them all and their mother to give them sanctuary – with my finding one a little older accompanying them and wrapping its blue, short-furred with black tiger stripes lankiness into the comfort of my partially rolled up shirt, snuggled against me as if in a momma’s pouch.
Must ever have a home in our hearts.
“If humans were created ‘in God”s image,’ then doesn’t it stand to reason that natural and healthy patterns of raising our own offspring reflect what he designed for us to mature into as adults by being our ‘parent?'”
“If ‘God’ ‘Is’ a Good ‘parent,’ do you really think that ‘He’ wants us to stay dependent upon ‘Him?’
Separating core truths from once necessary prior encasements is like threshing mature wheat stalks to claim vital seeds that we must plant in their purity to best nourish our future generations.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

“I do not know for sure about ‘God’s’ existence.
But I do know that Love exists as pure Good intension’s essence.
And when humans embody love and share it’s nourishment, people heal and flourish – and the whole world can heal and flourish by Love’s beneficience, creating ‘Paradise on Earth’ as ‘God’ has ‘promised.’
In this way, it can be seen that ‘God’s Will’ can ‘work through us’ by our ‘Right’ actions in truely loving one another.
Now, I do not feel comfortable at all with the thought of allowing some ‘entity’ to come and go inside my body at any time just ‘willy-nilly’ as religion preaches that people should open up to allow ‘God’ to do.
Feels a bit too much like allowing some kind of ‘possession!’
But Love, itself…ah, Love…
This is something that will always have a home inside of my mind, soul, and body.
And perhaps, this is the real take home message for humans.
Let Love live inside of us and grow between us.
This, in essence, is true Goodness.”
