“There was a time when Man reached for the mysteries and integrated them into his existence.
But once he learned how to extract life from life, he’s shown nothing but resistance.”

Atiel is the angel of nature, overseeing the protection and healing of animals, plants, and earth’s elements. Ariel is often depicted in art with elements of nature and is associated with the angelic virtues, inspiring humans toward great art and scientific discovery.

Archangel Ariel is the Archangel overseeing nature and the natural world and she acts as a liaison between humanity and the elementals, fairies, gnomes, elves, sprites, animals, crystals, minerals, air, and the Divine magic of the earth
I found today by mistyping that there is a font for Ariel!

Oh what tangled webs were woven
On wings of doves turned footsteps cloven
While maidens sighed and whispers lied
Of Eden’s charms unbroken…

It is interesting to note that in order to discuss the European mythos of the dragon representing ego which must be slayed, the discussion in this format itself is reinforcing that the dragon “must be slayed” – rather than educating Western thought to go to the next level of transforming that ego dragon into its transcendent form of “being in natural accord with the universe” – which thematic Mr. Campbell believed should be humanity’s ultimate goal. He left this association open-ended for the listener to bridge to by one’s own evolving awareness and choice to come to understand.

We met and loved, but love was forgotten…

Assumed dark matter
Of impenetrable night,
The secret source of love
Guarding salvation”s light.

See the eye’s winged companion on the right?
Is not necessarily about punitive reaction.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

A young man and woman met one day by Grace and fell in love.
Over time, as they came to know each other, it became apparent that they had unique foundational philosophies, although to the woman’s point of view, they were complimentary.
The woman, who had herself sprung from the very origins of the myth of Adam’s rib, lived and thrived in creative references to theories of existence, and felt that science was a vital inclusion in her reality, which further helped to clarify certain truths more readily measured, but did not dominate in validity over myth, for myth had been the mother of science.
The man, however, being enthralled with equations, calculations, and quantifications, felt more “safe” and comfortable in defining and categorizing “what can be known.”
He refused to acknowledge that perhaps the two states of understanding were intertwined, and viewed any further inclusion of concepts in myth and/or “magic” as regressive and an affront to the higher levels of intelligence toward which he believed Man should be striving.
Over time, as the woman’s views were not allowed acknowledgement in order to keep the man’s views unthreatened and distillated in his pondering of their purity, primal subconscious anger in her grew and began tapping into the primordial energies for reinforcement as he obliquely continued to shut her down and diminish her essential nature.
Then one day, the power of myth erupted into full glory as her essence transformed into the very proof in current day’s existence of an angered dragon.
But, instead of acknowledging this clear reality before him and bowing to the truth of their philosophies’ existential compatibility, he instead viewed her strength and fire as a threat, and in reaction condemned, chained, and then rejected her.
In the Bible, two is the number of a “faithful witness,” or someone who is set apart for God. Also worth noting, the word “wisdom” is mentioned 222 times in scripture. Lastly, Acts 2:22 is the only scripture in the whole of the Bible that mentions “signs, miracles and wonders” in the same verse.
Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
In the Kabbalah, the sin of the Tree of Knowledge (called Cheit Eitz HaDa’at) brought about the great task of beirurim, sifting through the mixture of good and evil in the world to extract and liberate the sparks of holiness trapped therein.
The elder might indeed have been poisoned, but he kept the world from knowing so that we would not be afraid to reach for the stars.
She had always been kind to everyone around her – even to those deserving of spite and ire.
But as the years grew and he projected fear upon her, spikes protruded from her spine and soft skin became muscled sinew.

By the powers invested and
Granted to every one of us
Daring enough to challenge
Coursing tides of oblivion,
May we each find our soul’s
Match to restore kingdoms.
