Take me to the alter where
We’ll worship on our knees
Our love will never fail as
Souls in paradise redeem
No one can tear apart destiny
Holding hands our lives unite
We’ll celebrate Fall’s rejoicing
As the season love takes flight

Will our inhibitions keep us stuck in a rut?
What right do they have to mess with us?
Is this what it means by leaping in faith?
But what if we’re frozen stiff at the gate?
How do we propel ourselves into momentum?
Does speaking in code assure of same intentions?
I know desire to kiss you coaxes temptation
But is your approval implied by arrival’s attestation?
If reached out my hand, would you offer yours, too?
If counted one to three, would we crash into
Each other, bonk heads, then laugh all jittery?
I’d like to be smooth, yet awkward is temporary
“No, I’d likely not want to go…
I’d likely want to stay and help restore Earth to its Eden.”

They were matched in every way that truly mattered – and love would not allow them to turn away from each other.
A good woman needs a good man’s entirety
Designed to protect and help evolve flaws
For she is the missing piece
Which supports his heart
And he is their sustenance
Providing life’s purpose
“Where despite our flaws, we stay and keep loving each other.”
Designs of structure
Simple plans of action
Need not be complex
To be most effective
Stringing memories of encounters
Like precious pearls on a necklace
As she turned to leave because she had to keep attending to her fragile realities, he paused her with a quick encircling of her wrist with his elegant fingers.
“Don’t go…
Stay.
I’ll take care of you…
I’ll take care of everything.”
Fire consumes air
While lifting higher
Water cools inferno
Whipped into desire
And Earth gives love
Its haven for landing
Discovering
Recognizing
Considering
Discussing
Committing
There’s only so much definition
Before we must just take a leap
Only so much deep discussion
Before two souls commit keep
But it is worth indulging
As we quiver biting nails
So that we calculate our bearings
Moving ship into water after shelf
There are stars to choose to guide by
Though others later share importance
Specific phrasings to convey meaning
So we understand language as lovers
Darling do not worry if I hesitate in a step
Just making sure we will be safe to benefit
This means so much to you and me
I want us to be found in translation
It’s a specialty of mine
In certain parameters
To examine designs
Routing out weakness
Not to trash constructs but
Configure reinforcements
Ensuring longevity’s
Mutual satisfactions

It is important to know
Where weak points exist
To focus on collaboration
For ensuring strengthening
How is love timeless
Like waves in the sea?
Like the heavens’ expanse
Stretching off into eternity?
What brings two souls together
Uniting to form perfect symmetry?
When a soul has been alone a long time
Questions underlying everything surface
It is no longer enough to merely connect
How do they know that they are wanted?
And what secures their partner will stay
When one did all they could, previously
To no effect in retaining the intended
Rendering enamored a fool believing
She had thought that she had seen him before, walking alone into town, and had wanted to call out to him.
But she had not been sure that he would welcome attention, and so drove off to her other destinations, regretfully.
The beginning sound effects remind me of thematics in the movie, “Blade Runner,” when they are first flying over the city to get to the police headquarters.
“I’m sorry you aren’t seeing me at my best,” she lamented.
“I think we might have this in common,” he gently reassured her.
“Are you afraid of me?” he asked.
“No. Although maybe I should be?” and she smiled playfully, with just a hint of concern over completely trusting without fully knowimg him, yet.
“The Goons are making me stressed, though. Are they yours, or someone elses?”
