“Dusk”

The root-injured and shocked tree that I kept nursing with water through last year’s hot summer into the fall until the rains came and it could go dormant has survived – and has come back bursting full of life’s energy! WOOT!!!

Stopping outside the Starbucks, in front of me and to the right about 5 feet on the shaded sidewalk next to the busy street, two men with their backs to me were advertising JW. Then I went into the shop and came back out to find these tickets under my windshield wiper focusing on El Diableo and the paranormal. The placer had passed behind them advertising symbolic counterpoint to Jehovah’s Witness messaging! And when I parked outside my bank, these songs were playing next door at a restaurant’s outdoor patio dining: The Laat In Line by Dio; Heaven’s On Fire By Kiss; I Wanna Rock by Twisted Sister; Long Live Rock ‘N Roll by Rainbow; and Creatures Of Night by Kiss. Classic.

I saw this lovely on the walking strip outside of a department store with no green, food, nor water in sight and gently fenagled it from its tight grip on the concrete. The sun is out, but the wind is icy chill. Not the best conditions for hatchlings nor parents. So I transported it to a spring paradise!

The stars are so bright tonight, they can even be seen by my not-so-great-at-night phone camera! Zoom around a bit…

Sugar snap peas, mixed alyssum, and purple-white verbena to add to our garden.

An artist tailors what they can and will perceive along certain frequencies.
When I am inspired to capture photos, often some energy of presence beckons.

The racing snail from “The Neverending Story.”

Momma creature with antennae fronds on left looking back at two kidlings play-challenging eachother to right in the sun.

As the sun ponders an asked question while bringing a cloud hand to its chin and a thought cloud to its head.

Me in early teens – the morph years, visiting family in Fresno, California.

See its hands and arms reaching for Dutch Bros (TM)? Its eyes in head at bottom middle turn toward us as if to say, ” Don’t you agree?” Sure! Sure! Yes if it makes you happy! Zoom…

Referencing previous crash photo, the driver must have taken the sign literally! Maybe a bus was coming…

Heard it when it happened outside.

What do an artist’s hands tell us? They speak of time weathered and fashioned by imagination and marks of strength from trials overcome.
Note in the web between my thumb and forefinger: a wedged cut from a slipped chisel stroke in my senior year of highschool while holding an item I was carving during an outside fire drill.
And more recently just above there is subtle bruising – likely from two days ago when I erected large chain link panels to prevent deer from gettimg into our front gardening yard.

The central crystal was based on my first crystal earring. It actually had a feather-shaped prism within it and was from my first Renaissance Faire in Hanford when I was seventeen.

There are tacos on my shoes…!

“You will love again…” From Song “A Million Stars” By BT ft. Kirsty Hawkshaw https://youtu.be/t_CHUPr4NwI

Replenishing raindrops ripple across the surface.

Me when a toddler.

Three blue borage sproutlings to soon grace our garden!

More chuckles…

Without my glasses, I thought at first that it said “Spectral Moisterizing…” and thought that was pretty funny – given what I had just posted. I could use a little help “from my point of view!”

Resting her chin gently on my leg so persuasively.

Like in the Birthday song, “And many returns…”- or in greeting goodbye.

Zoom in to see these fanciful lovelies!
