The Halloween shop called this a plague mask – but I call it a mask of the crow’s survival against human-induced adversity and will delight in dressing up for it. I bought a light-velvet black dress robe to go with it for simplicity, and am considering a crown of black, floofing feathers.

I was trying to photograph whatever is under this fluffy tail, but my wolf decided to sit down and “conveniently” hide it from me!

Realizing it was now exposed and tbe rain had stopped, it began making other plans…

This leaf was upside down like a tent when I found it and this little one was attached to its “roof” to keep dry off of the grass during the rain.
