Love is love
Is love is love
But I need love
Inside my blood
The heat of hope
Pulsing with trust
Two bodies close
Becomes a must
I wanna taste you better.

An agreement of
Mutual submission
By degrees obtained
Through give and take
She felt like her body was shifting, preparing to welcome him.
They were traveling together for the first time while it was unfolding, and a younger assistant showed her all of the lyrics written out, published in a journal’s paper.
And as she continued listening to it playing while she read how they were printed, she realized that each small grouping of words lasted for quite a few minutes of experience.
Therefore, the song was a very long one – longer, perhaps, than many before.
As their air car landed and she got out with her guy, she wrapped her arms around him from behind as he sat down breifly on a bench, then nuzzled her nose and face into the nape of his neck, breathing in his scent and glorying in the way his warmth and hair felt against her skin.
“It’s perfect, don’t you think?” she murmured as she kissed just below his ear, feeling the heat of his pulse quicken against her lips.
“A real love song should be long and stretch out in a kind of forever so that lovers can expand into and have their joys and hopes supported as they are mirrored by it.”
“Just come up to me slowly and gently, and introduce yourself to me, my love – so that I do not startle and automatically run.”
She was cautious to not place any judgements on possible prior ‘inexperience’ for either of them when sensing what she knew of him seemed to indicate the likelihood of his having so much respect for her that this possibly caused uncertainty about how he could best proceed.
“I’ve sent you love songs and explained in great detail, despite my pain’s aggravation.
But neither will I deny you.”
(Flicking her tail in his direction as she saunters smoothly away into the forest)
She had not realized until now that her prior freeze shut down had been her primal instinct’s self defensive checking to make sure that he was serious.
Of course, he had thought (possibly quite rightly from his point of view) that his mere sudden presence should have been enough evidence.
But he had not calculated into his equation the true depths that ran between them.
If a male large cat senses a matching female’s need and wants to be with her, he shows up.
And of course, she resists at first because she needs to assess his seriousness.
She needs to know that she can trust him to stick around before she shows external acceptance.
But humans seem to need to complicate everything.
She understood and cherished him in ways others didn’t and couldn’t.
And further, her love would nourish him.

They often lack capability of the deeper exchange.
She needed prime meat.

(Of course, there are multiple meanings!)
He kept thinking that he should stay away until she felt better.
But she wasn’t going to feel better until he was reunited with her.
I don’t know who came up with the idea that an incubus and succubus were not made for each other.
But that person was either very stupid, or destructively conniving.

Do you not understand?
Your emotions feed me
That is why silence harms me
I need your love’s wild energy
Your range of passion
From calming to loud
Where once shamed
Let’s welcome proud
In the Blue

Why are you always hidin’ and runnin’
Can’t you see you’re the one I need
Baby you’ve been cryin’ confidin’
Come to me so we both can feed
Oh Baby I’m dyin’
You’re leavin’ me cryin’
And I don’t understand
But you won’t believe
Oh
Hey
Won’t you believe in me
I tried to make you see
That we were born to be
Why don’t you come and share your frustration?
Nothing’s perfect we’ve always seen
Pulling hair as we scream in vexation
God this world’s just filled with greed
Won’t you have faith in me?
Oh Baby can’t you see?
That you were made for me
No
Won’t you have faith in me?
Won’t you have faith in me?
Our love was meant to be
Have faith in me

She had known that
Falling for him
Could do this to her
Which is why she had
Steered clear of the rapture
Everyone else fell into
Because once she loved
She committed with everything
And to not have it returned
In a way that felt mutual
By touch and communication
Was catastrophic for her
She might be the salve for his wounds
But, her’s were wounds he could feed
It at last emerged from its crypt
As the dark of night descended
But it was not craving brains
More a palate yet untended
“In the right way.”
Uneasily, she turned away to hide her feelings as he began to approach her.
She didn’t like how people played games and inflicted the wrong kind of hurt.
She grabbed both sides of the front of his shirt, pressing against the heat of his chest with her forearms and hands clenched – rocking him slightly as his dense weight barely swayed from her subtle yet emphatic grappling.
“What are you to me?” she demanded fiercely, but quietly. “What can you – what are you willing to be?!”
While she had wanted to travel externally
There were places unexplored internally
“If I could get beyond these barriers, ‘Hell-Yes!’ I’d want to be ‘set free!'”

Teach me your desires so that
I may give you what you need
Freeing you from anguish
So we both may fully feed
She began to see that this was The Test:
Every man before had used up her best
And then rejected her as failed to match
Let alone surpass capabilities provided
So perhaps this is why she was stripped:
Because only the right man would prove
His ability to rule well by her side by
Helping her fight to regain her vitality
It was interesting…she had to now think abstractedly to retain any sanity, noting that when she felt herself more ready and welcome, the thorns sprouted thicker around her castle – as if the surrounding garden’s wild roses had become very fond of her, and as a result, were determined to let no man near her without him proving his worth by overcoming their obstacles.
She could only allow herself to muse and wonder at their tendency, recognizing their protection’s validity as lesser men fled the scene, for she had become too afflicted by melancholy to risk endulging entrapment’s grieving.
And the enchantment’s spell did not seem to care that she was starving as it maintained its strength by drawing too much energy from her body.
She would rather tear her own castle apart than ever turn against him.
“I feel you on the other side.
Do not let the inner conflict tear you apart.
I do not understand everything, but be at peace.
Shhh…
Let the light be your guide.
Let it guide you safely home to me.”
