The Force Within

What is this tug
That pulls at me,

Pushing me now to
Challenge everything?

My roles, my goals,
My self definition –

It overthrows
My inhibitions!

It will not yield
To consultation –

Will not wield
Devastation:

It’s leaning hard
Against limitations,

Forcing stuck doors to
Break at foundations –

Revealing what it
Means to be Living.
