There once was Scottish king who married a Pictish princess to bring peace between their lands.
But this king soon chose to throw away the olden ways and embraced the growing powers of Patriarchy – casting aside affections for his wife and eventually banishing her from his kingdom.
As their son grew to manhood, he formed his own tribe, breaking off from his father’s ways and attempting to usher in a new age where the best of both philosophies helped people to live in unity.
He had sought out his mother and found that she was not the witch his relatives had claimed her to be and saw the usefulness and beauty of balancing nature with technology for a more balanced synergy.
In time, he fell in love with a strong-willed woman who shared these ideals and they created a society that was flourishing in balanced symmetry and inclusivity.
However, the angry tide of greed’s violence toward all gentle things not conforming and paying found them and crushed their people in an onslaught of murder and trampling.
The mother saw the wave as it came and her soul cried out for being unable to save anything. But most of all, she cried for her son and his newly found bride having their love taken from them so brutally.
Before she died, she imprinted the story in deep cellular memory so that truth of what happened could someday be accessed by future humanity.
Centuries later, a young woman had a dream about her future child to be born having the same name as the son. She felt what that mother had felt and that she was somehow her reincarnation reborn in time to repair the lines that were broken.
She knew that her child’s soul was the reincarnation of this prince, and that when he later met a certain girl whom he fell in love with, theirs was the love shared that had once been taken.
