“When I am with my youngest on an outing, I can come alive – sparkling effervescent in big smiles, laughter, and brightly joyous vibe.

“I shall add blueberries to my buttermilk pancakes – AH HA-HA HA-HA!’

I will make buttermilk pancakes with bacon.

“My inclination is to unify and strengthen, rather than to divide and destroy.”

Family is of primary importance, but so also ought to be the partnered relationship.

“Would that I could tone down the intensity of perception’s receiving.”

He smoothly walked past the two of them for casual observation, noting the woman in red-gold splendour with her beloved grown child beside her.

She could tell he had recently showered as his hair hung in smooth, coiled ringlets, and  his masculine meditation clued he was deep in preparation.

“When I was a child, I spent a lot of time alone at my gransparents’ house.

When I say alone, that meant that grandpa was away for music business or golf during the day, while grandma was either cleaning house, watching golf, or come evening, cooking for all of us.

Simple things to eat were always available, like potato chips, slices of cheese, some crisp head lettuce, and bread and lunch meat.

My place was either in the front side bedroom listening to A-tracks, or on the floor in the kitchen, watching B-matinee movies.

Now, as I wait for paperwork processing to be able to resume my healing therapies, there’s a lot of me tending to the animals in the front room before the fire, and kitchen duties accompanied by the comfort of netflix or music piped through the phone set on repeat…

And pretty much the same simple diet for the kid in me.”

“There’s an event I’m looking forward to, and I’ll be dressed in aspects of a phoenix.”

Music, lyrics, poetry, photography…

The purple irises still yet to bloom are dug up from too much shade along the leaning fence soon to be repaired; vegie pots from last year are now half full, awaiting fresh soil topping; and the latest gathering of seedlings are lined along the sidewalk freshly watered, awaiting tomorrow’s ventures!

The sprouted seedlings have arrived for early gardening!!!
